Dry Ground Meaning

The name comes from bible references like Moses crossing the Red Sea on dry ground, Joshua crossing the Jordan river on dry ground, and Elija crossing the Jordan on dry ground. They were all significant parts of the people entering into their promised land.

Crossing the waters on “dry ground” represents going from death to life and from barrenness to fruitfulness. Through God’s power, they crossed over unencumbered.

As we have gone into this business venture, it is with the mindset that no matter what sort of “deep waters” we may need to cross, we will do it on “dry ground.”

Megan Ross

Megan Ross is the Vice President of Operations for Dry Ground Management. She has a strong background in Customer Success and is focused on creating a world-class experience for our investors and customers in our subsidiaries. Additionally, Megan has experience in interior design with past projects and helps with design decisions in our properties.

Megan helped companies with their Customer Success programs in the Austin area for 7 years. She has led teams, developed & optimized processes, overseen operations, automation, and execution. In previous roles, Megan has worked with some of the top companies in the Credit, Banking, and Social Media industries.

Megan graduated with Honors from the University of Arkansas, Sam Walton College of Business, with a degree in Supply Chain Management and Marketing.

During Megan’s downtime, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids as well as event planning and gardening. She likes to travel, interior design, and arts & crafts.
